About Jennie Kay
Jennie Kay Plumb formerly know as Jennie Kay Murphy is one of the Northeast’s most respected makeup artists and hairstylists. Her work has been featured in major motion pictures, including the recently released film Knight and Day, 27 Dresses and Bride Wars, as well as in esteemed publications and on numerous fashion runways.
Mrs. Plumb's eye for detail, as well as her hair and makeup talents, are currently in demand on a number of high profile projects, including the upcoming ABC series Body of Proof, the film Locked In and the renowned musicals The Color Purple, The Wizard of Oz, Jersey Boys, and Beauty and the Beast.
Her work has garnered a number of prominent fans. One of her most notable admirers is Miss Rhode Island 2009 Julian Strout, for whom Ms. Murphy is the official hair and makeup artist for the Miss America Pageant. Additionally, she has worked with a number of recognizable faces, including:

Her extensive training includes the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology and studying alongside the revered stylists at Paul Mitchell the School.
Mrs. Plumb currently resides in Newport, RI, a location that allows her
easy access to both New York City and Boston for work. She is a member
